(Its free) With, that said I would like to outline my plans with y'all for 2003. Web Site Updates I have recently updated the Florida Web Site ( [ http://www.ecza-fl.com ] ). You, will notice that I have migrated all of the picture archives from our past events to an ad free server. I think this should make quite a few of you happy, as the server access speed is quite increased to boot. I have also updated the main page and the Upcoming Events pages to illustrate the schedule of events for the Tampa Bay Area planned so far. ECZA of Florida Flyers
I have updated the ECZA of Florida Flyer and made it available for download. I have also created a Tampa Events Flyer for the Bay area people. Both, are excelent to hand out to Zrs you come across or to just leave on their windshields. Remember our Monthly meet for February is coming (2/1/03) up this Saturday. Its going to be @ The Ronnie Setser Car Show in Carrollwood. The meet will run from roughly 6:30PM until 8:30PM or 9PM. Assistant to the VP
1.) I need an assistant on the local Tampa Bay Area level. Some, of y'all might remember that back in 1998/99 when I entered the Z scene I was Trevor Gregg's the former VP's assistant.It was great when there was 2 of us, as we were able to accomplish so much more. With being a full time college student preparing for law school I lack enough time to do everything myself. Our last year being riddled with inactivity is proof enough of that. What I need is one of our local Tampa members to volunteer to be my assistant. This will encompass not only Tampa based items, but statewide as well. 5 Easy Pieces
2.) Dividing Florida into 5 Regions I would like to divid Florida into 5 regeions as follows.
1.) North West -- Panama City-Tallahasse
2.) North East -- Jacksonville-St Augustine
3.) Central -- Tampa/Orlando-Gainesville-Space Coast
4.) South West -- Ft Meyers-Sarasota
5.) South East -- Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-West Palm Each regeion will need some one to organize it. As such I would like to have 5 regeional directors to organize and orchestrate the members and events in their regeion. If you would like to see more Z related activities in your area this is your chace to make a difference. All I ask is that you communicate with me, and plan a scheduled monthly Z meet. Anythign more than that will be icing on the cake! You would of couse have full support of the ECZA and myself. This is the best way I see to get the state active all around. 3.) Establishing a Joint Import Community in Tampa
I am looking to eastablish something that will bring in the other upper level imports, such as RX7's, Supras, 3KGT's, 240SX's, etc... I am thinking of setting up an ECZA store to sell things like vinyl logo/url stickers, and license plate frames which would help advertise the car club.
